Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Trade Manager (the "Service") is operated by Creative Vision LLC, based in Boise, Idaho, USA. For privacy questions, contact info@trademanagerapp.com.

2. What we collect

Account info — email address, account name, and authentication tokens (via Supabase Auth).

Trade and journal data — the trades, notes, rules, goals, and configurations you enter into the app. This belongs to you; we store it so the Service works across your devices.

Screenshots — if you use the "Upload image" feature, the screenshot is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to extract trade fields. Screenshots are not stored by us after extraction completes.

Billing info — handled entirely by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status, but never your card number, CVC, or bank details.

Technical data — IP address, browser type, and basic usage metrics to operate the Service, rate-limit abuse, and debug errors.

3. What we don't collect

We don't sell your data to third parties.
We don't use your trade data to train AI models.
We don't show ads.
We don't run third-party trackers (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.).

4. Third-party services we use

Supabase — database, authentication, and realtime sync.
Stripe — payment processing.
Anthropic (Claude) — AI features: screenshot parsing, pre-market briefs, weekly digest focus notes.
Resend — transactional email (weekly digest, alerts).
Twilio — optional SMS alerts if you enable them.
Yahoo Finance / CoinGecko — market data.
Vercel — hosting.

Each of these has its own privacy policy governing data they receive from us.

5. How we use your data

To run the Service — store your trades, sync across devices, calculate analytics.
To send transactional email you've opted into (weekly digest, alerts).
To process payments through Stripe.
To detect abuse (rate limiting) and debug errors.
To comply with legal obligations.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

Access — download all your data as JSON from Account settings → Danger Zone.
Delete — permanently delete your account and all data from Account settings → Danger Zone.
Correct — edit any data you've entered.
Port — the JSON export is structured so you can import it elsewhere.
Opt out of email — disable the weekly digest per-account; unsubscribe link on every email.

If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA. To exercise any of them, email info@trademanagerapp.com.

7. How long we keep data

While your account is active, we keep your data indefinitely so the Service works. When you delete your account, all data is removed from our primary database within 24 hours, and from backups within 30 days. Stripe retains a record of past payments separately per their own retention policies.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (Supabase handles this). Authentication uses Supabase Auth with industry-standard password hashing. We rate-limit AI endpoints to prevent abuse. We don't claim perfect security — no internet service can — but we take it seriously.

9. Children

The Service isn't designed for anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, email info@trademanagerapp.com and we'll remove it.

10. International users

If you use the Service from outside the United States, your data will be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to this policy

We'll post material changes here and notify active users by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
